do you work out?

Just curious, personally I find it too boring to stick with it. Not only that I eat pretty healthy. Oh, and I still have a chance with most girls 🙂

Yes, and if you start working out religiously, you'll actually start getting energy boosts especially if you work out in the morning. Plus working out releases endorphins in the brain; makes you feel good and accomplished. Plus it's nice to look in the mirror after a work out and admire the results.

Yup, lift weights 4 times a week, and jog or ride my bike on the weekends. Haven't had a single problems with girls. Well, other than some of them being cheating, two-face *&*&*(&. But that's a different story.

yup - it's funny... when i have free world-class facilities at school i've used them for probably 6 months out of the 3 years i've been there... and now that i'm home for the summer i pay $30 a month for a membership... go 3-4 times/wk

i never exercised actively til last may. Now I do something everyday except sunday. Weights for a few sessions/week hitting the whole body and atleast 30 minutes of walking every day outside just to move around. Im trying to bulk up now after losing over 100 pounds.

Its wierd but before I never worked out and never thought I could handle it. When I stuck with it weight came off and you learn allot about your body and intensity. You almost need to do something to feel ok, especially if you eat junk food once in a while like I do now instead of every day.

So for me exercise will allow me to control my weight cause I can gain like crazy if I don't watch it. So now I know what I can do. If I went nuts on junk food or something I could then diet a little for a couple weeks, do weights a few days/week and jog everyday for an hour and get myself back down. I'll never stop being active now and will continue to lift weights to.

yes, i've been working out with weights lightly for about a year and can bench 220 now. which isn't that much really but considering that i could only bench about 120 when i started out its an accomplishment to me.

i work out about 5 times a week for about 1hr 10 min and if you keep this up you can really put on some muscle.

if you work out long enough to start seeing improvement u can stick with it, but if u expect results in a month or two you've lost before you've started.

<< Everyday. The money I invested in a membership at the gym provides me with ample motivation >>

I second that! 🙂

nope..
hell i cant even run a block!

edit: unless its running from the police or chasing someone that ripped me off😉😀

6 days a week (3 cardio, 3 weight lifting). Tonite I have a soccer game, too!

I love it, and wouldn't trade my workouts for anything.

During football season I lift weights and do cardio 4 times a week, off season its 3 times a week with cardio in between. Cept I broke my leg and now I am in PT :-(

Ummm...no. I have health problems that prevent me from doing any aerobic or high impact exercise (i.e. weightlifting). During the summer, I try to swim as much as possible, and I walk quite a bit each day. But since I quit waiting tables a couple of years ago, I've gained a little weight and have become "soft".

/me awaits the inevitable "12oz curls" comment. LOL

well I do... usually 7 times a week..

although I'm skipping today for no reason at all.

there's lots of motivation to go to my gym.... lots of girls in sports bras and tight shorts walking all over the place.

its a big gym w/ 200-300 ppl there at a time.

I'd go anyways...but its nice to have scenery :Q

No better motivation then having hot chicks all around you giving you that "you're fat" look. hahaha.

crazy, sounds like I'm one of the lazy SOBs in this whole board. I'm one of those people that worked out for 3 months and saw no noticeable improvement in size. I definitely got stronger, but I didn't LOOK any stronger. So I thought...hmm...I'm a computer programmer so I really don't NEED the strength, I have no problems getting girls, and I get bored as hell lifting weights. Everyone from girlfriends to best friends have tried to convince me to get in shape but I'm too stubborn.

I guess its one of those things you can only like if you've got some real motivation to do it or you've been doing it for a while.

thats me man...I need motivation like that to work out. I can't just sit there and repeatedly lift something 20 times.

I like sports and all, but I don't have the skills to be good at them. Once you get to like age 20 and you still play basketball like an elementary school kid, you lose that motivation. Plus its just not economical to have a "fun workout". My idea of a fun workout would involve hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, etc. Unfortunately I'm not really in a position to do that stuff 3-4 times a week.

It sucks that our society is structured in a way that we've been forced to replace real activities like rowing an actual boat in a real river to those pathetic rowing machines. Or "pretending" to ski with a damn Nordik track.
