I see alot of people on the left (and in here) bashing corporations....I was curious to see how many of them actually work for corporations.

So yes, it has to do quite a bit with politics.

Corporations are dictatorships with one goal. Profits.
The people who work for them are all great people. But their opinions are rarely heard for company direction and motives.
