Yes, pretty much always wear a white/gray/black wife-beater underneath. Otherwise my nipples poke through my t-shirts. Exceptions are heavier-weight t-shirts. Not really necessary with my button-ups, but I feel weird without them. Also, prevents my chest from blinding people in case I leave the top couple buttons unbuttoned.

No.
Just a polo shirt.

I hate the feeling of multiple layers of clothing, particularly when the inner layer isn't laying properly flat against me.

Only time I have a shirt under another one is if I am wearing a sweater.

But for those that say it's to prevent pit stains where do you work where you sweat that much but need to wear good looking shirts like you usually do in a office area?

Isn't that what bra's are for on the first part?

Or are you a man with moobs?

generally, yes, especially during the spring/summer.

in the winter I may forgo one if I'm wearing a comfy fabric in a casual sweater (eg: throwing on a flannel shirt as I run my errands on a Saturday morning)

No. It's not "sexy". On the other hand, I've retired a few shirts because my nips show so prominently through them -- holy crap I can't believe I wore those for so long.

Depends on the temperature and what I'm wearing.

Formal wear (Dress-Casual or higher): Always.

Casual: Only if it's chilly out.

In any case I'd never wear a wife-beater. Just no point to it IMO.

Yeah, t-shirts and wife beaters under short & long sleeve button-up shirts or polo shirts. Under another t-shirt? Most likely not unless I'm carrying (IWB).
