it seems that there are two types of people out there - those who wear undershirts, and those who don't. so which group do you fall into?

Yes. I wear the second one under polo's and button downs. If I'm doing jeans/tshirts, no. Just one T is enough 🙂
 
If I'm wearing a button down, yeah...

If I'm just wearing a t-shirt (most of the time) then I don't wear an undershirt...
 
For some button shirts, depends. In the winter I wear them at work as I work outside, it helps a lot if it's tight against my skin.
 
I don't. What's the purpose of a wife beater? I can understand a Tee, It can help keep sweat from running down your sides. What's a wife beater do?
 
As i wear button ups most of the time.. I do. Im not really a t shirt guy so i wear undershirts around the house

I use them so I don't get so hot. Tee's I often get hot in, especially if I walk into some place that's a tad warm and dunno what it is with polo's with a Tee but will make me sweat.
Same around the house, I just feel more comfortable in them overall.
