why would you wear a ring that's not a wedding ring if you were a guy? Not insulting, just curious.

why not?

it's an accessory... no different than wearing a watch when your cellphone is in your pocket or a chain around your neck.

Yeah, I do. Two, actually.

Right hand, middle finger is a silver ring with inlaid turquoise in the shape of a lightning bolt. I call it my Ride the Lightning ring. 😉

Right hand, ring finger is a silver band with a copper band in the middle that I bought from work(I work at a jewelry manufacturer).

I wear a ring my mother gave me when I was 14. When I was that age, I was also only 110 pounds so it fit really nicely on my left hand index finger. Since gaining 15 pounds, it only fits on either my left or right hand ring fingers...and for some reason it just feels more comfortable on my left hand ring finger. So I keep it on there. I only take it off for things like photo shoots..other than that, the ring stays on.

And I'm single.

You're fine. Just wear the ring if you really love it, why do you care what other people think?

No. Seriously, if you're a guy and you feel the need to wear a ring just face reality and start hanging out in bus stop bathrooms.

What? There's nothing wrong with guys wearing rings. 😕

Bullshit. If you don't have confidence in yourself, and can't wear a ring without feeling gay, maybe you are ;^)

I have a pony tail down to the small of my back. I'm not the kind of guy who give a shit if people think I'm gay looking or not. Usually those who are obsessed with such things are obsessed for a reason 😉

I used to have this really cool looking sterling silver skull ring with a dagger plunged down the middle and blade sticking out of the bottom. I went to the bathroom about 10 years ago at Dairy Queen and took it off to wash my hands....I left the store and a block away I turned right back around. In less than 5 minutes it was gone.

Pisses me off to remember that. :|

I have my wedding band and that is it. Something like 13 years ago I wore my high school graduation ring for about four months, and that was the end of that.

I *may* get a ring when I'm done with the MBA. The wife is thinking about getting a class ring when she's done with her PhD.

I don't know a single guy that wears a ring that isn't a wedding ring. And even some of them that ARE married don't wear their rings very often.
