I can recall watching Faces of Death movies many years ago out of pure morbid curiosity and then being depressed for days afterwards.

I remember watching one of those once. Of all fucked up stuff in it, the thing that got to me was a part where they showed an Asian family cooking up a puppy for dinner. The first step in the preparation was gutting the puppy while it was alive. Ugh...

I've seen some of the apache live leak videos, and the arab drift crash videos, but thats about it.

There's a similar one of some folks eating the brain of a live monkey ... makes me shudder recalling!

I watched that one with those two brothers somewhere in eastern Europe murdering some guy in the woods, hammer to his face, screwdriver in his eyes. That was years ago, I can still unfortunately visualize it in my head as I write this.

King of Jordan right now

I won't watch executions or anything like that. I stumbled on ogrish way back in its earliest days and watched some poor guy get beheaded with a knife. Fucking horrific.

They make them because they want you to watch them.
I refuse to watch such things and quite honestly, think less of the people that do.

something like that can give you ptsd if you see it live. I am starting to believe its just as powerful to see on tape.

I saw somethng horrible when I was a kid and to this day its there. year and half ago I stopped at a bus accident here in indy that had fatalities. Brought me back to my childhood and affected me more than just seeing someone die again. Death is something that we shouldn't be desensitized to.

It's on Fox News now. It's surprisingly well produced for a rag tag militia video. It makes me wonder who ISIS hiring or forcing them to produce this crap.

neckbeards from all over with psycotic tendencies are drawn to them like they had big tits....

Fox news putting that on doesnt surprise me though I wish more people and outlets would stop airing that crap so it would stop being made. Its only made because idiots watch it.

It happened months ago probably and is propaganda in the most literal sense. Its disgusting and only serves their agendas.

Just fucking sick to show that nationally.

That's where I'm at. I watched Daniel Pearle and that was my stopping point.

What is that?

And, I can't watch vids. I've seen the "aftermath" in pics of mexical cartel stuff. Mostly just people's heads or like, a dumpster filled with a bunch of torso's arms, legs, etc. But I couldn't actually watch video of it being done to people.

Ive seen a few in the past, but i dont watch anymore. I prefer the ignorance is bliss approach to my life now.

No kidding. I used to want to know everything, wanted to be an expert on every subject. Now I get pissed when I get roped into something new.

He was a Jewish reporter that Al Queda beheaded. IIRC it was one of the first of those kinds of videos to hit the internet.

I see.

I don't really want to see it, but I do wonder how the hell they cut off a dude's head with just a knife. They gotta get through the spine and all... It must take a while.

I also hope that they don't suffer too much. That must be pretty shitty to experience (not as bad as being burned alive though).

You realize the whole reason they do it that way is to make the suffering as unbearable as possible, right?

The suffering would be simply unfathomable.

The ones I saw were really fast. It's almost like they have some kind of internal competition going on about who can post a video with the shortest time from first cut to severed head. Yeah we are talking unimaginable pain for the 20-30 seconds it takes them though. I can't think about it very long without getting queasy. My mind keeps wanting to put me in the place of the victim. It's fucking horrific.

I think they don't fully understand how they're making people feel with these videos. Sure, there's fear borne of imagining what it would be like to have that done to you, but there's also a sense of having viewed something evil, twisted, and malformed that needs to be stamped out whatever the costs. I liken it to opening a door and seeing a mother strangling her own infant. It's so awful you don't quite comprehend it at first, but then you feel a desperate need to make it stop. If you had a gun in your hand when you saw that you'd shoot the mother in an instant just to make it stop.

Hmmmm. Well, I'm def not saying it wouldn't be insanely terrible... But based in my personal experience from being blood choked during my years of BJJ, cutting off blood supply to the brain brings unconsciousness very quickly.

I would hope & assume once both sets of veins and arteries were cut, they'd bleed out and lose consciousness within 3-5s.

The shitty part is the many seconds of cutting it takes to reach those veins....

Sounds sick to ask but.. do the victims struggle and scream while it happens? like... how are they not trying to fight for their lives?

And I agree. Part of me knows that we can't really "fight" ISIS because they are not just some country's army. I am also generally against most of the US involvement in the US. However, the more and more I see and hear about it, it just plants a seed of hatred for all these ISIS people, Islam, and middle eastern folks in general.

I know it's wrong and misplaced, but I don't think I'm alone in it.

The conspiracy theorist in me hates to think that Fox news and other media places post these vids to slowly rile up support for a full scale invasion of Syria, etc.
