Do you wash your hands after doing the doo doo?

I am in college, and I just got out of the hall bathroom this morning. While I was in there putting in my contacts, some guy got done using the bathroom, came out of the stall, and walked directly out the door. This is the case with I'd say almost every person I've seen. It's disgusting.

Now, I may just be weird, but I always wash my hands whenever I get done doing either 'thing'. So, since I remember that most AT'ers say that they wash their hands when they are done, I will mix up this poll.

When you were in college/that age, did you wash your hands? I'm trying to see if the guys I live with are just slobs or if it's a 'phase' that us young people go through.

 
One of my best friends, whom I've known for 10+ years doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom. I realized this a few years ago. Everytime he used the restroom, I noticed that as soon as the toilet would flush (whenever I could hear it), the door would open a second later and he would walk out. I started to pay more attention to the sound of a faucet running when he used the restroom, and he definetly doesnt wash his hands for anything. It's completely disgusting. I dont know how or what to say to him though. I dont care what he does at his house, but when he uses the restroom at my house, I wish he would wash his hands.

It has come to this; everytime he uses our restroom, I go to the restroom right after him and I clean the door handle, toilet lever handle, light swicth etc. I wipe it all down with cleaner. And he always finds a way to urinate all over the toilet seat. It takes 30 seconds for me to clean everything, and I know it might seem crazy and excessive, but it completely disgusts me. I feel like a janitor in my own house.

Just tell him that's disgusting and he needs to wash his hands...?
 
I find it quite funny that people complain about this but don't think twice about touching money or door handles. Does everyone here wash their hands after touching these? Watch out! The germs are coming for you!

? If he is your best friend, why are you 'afraid' to tell him this? I told one of my hallmates who I knew pretty well (and only have known him this year) that its gross that he doesn't wash his hands. Your best friend should not have a problem if you tell him, especially when he is at your house.

And I don't blame you, I'd do the same thing (wiping down)

And 40hands, I do think about that, which is why I always wash my hands or use hand sanitizer before eating anything.
