Much as I dislike Obama's fundamental transformation of our nation, our entitlement society is the biggest problem.
the "entitlements" problem is actually almost equal to the military/security spending and additional spending derived from excessive military spending... although the military is itself an entitlement, because too many people feel they are entitled to security at someone else's expense.
Secession would not change that, only produce a lot of irritable mewling as sheeple were forced to change teats.
yes it would because there would be more currencies and the people who wanted welfare would have to move. i can imagine that most people in virginia who love welfare would move if virginia seceded.

Poor people- just dispose of them. Problem solved.

But, uhh, who's gonna pay the rent after they're gone? Who's gonna shop where they used to shop, pay for the services they used to pay for?

i said poor people who wanted welfare (emphasis added).

there is private charity. and then some people who are on welfare could actually work. additionally, we have a lot of regulations and spending from the central govt and those reduce production.

also, many multinational corporations would have a more difficult time because they would no longer be protected by shit like nafta and many would suffer some patent reduction. the thing that is good about many multinational corporations being worse off is that smaller businesses that are run more democratically will employ more people since they wont be wasting so much money on management.

the freedom from licensure reduction and cash only medical practices would also cause prosperity because there would be less regulation.

Get a job. Seriously your claptrap about the poor rings hollow given your utter, contemptible laziness.

the smartest professor i ever had (he is an INTP and he wrote a book about failed States) said that the u.s. wouldnt collapse like an empire did but that it would split into a few different countries. i didnt ask him why he thought that though.
Here is a map of how a Russian prof figures it could go, map number 11 40 maps that explain the world http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...ain-the-world/
please see above🙂
Thanks. That's interesting. I've bookmarked to look at all maps later. Of course, probably goes without saying That I don't agree with the Russians professors map of a split up USA. E.g., I'm in NC and he's got us going along with NE (NY etc.) instead of SC, Georgia and Tenn etc. Fern
please see above🙂
