At this point I am wondering whether I Should og for 16 or 32.

I think it will be dependant on what maps are played on the server.

Any help on what maps I should use?

I'd go for 32.

Maps:
The standard rotation is good - I personally dislike Songhua Stalemate, but everything else is pretty good.

All the map packs are a great imo.
16 players isn't enough, if this community can support 32-64 players super.
Non Ranked is actually how I play since I do most of my gaming over @ TG.
It keeps stat padding and quite a few of the kiddies away.
You could make it a requirement for people to join squads, make it a rule to listen to their sl, make it a rule for sl's to listen to their CO.
If you like teamwork that is.

32 player minimum. Is this special forces or just standard BF2? Special forces is a great expansion, added a lot, would be silly not to do it.

Might be good to add that to the poll, I'd be interested to see how many play SF here.
I for one don't but that's because where I play it doesn't seem to be favored.

You really should. It added some neat maps and some cool new toys. Not to mention 3 new armies complete with even some new weapons and unlocks. I like some of the new weapons a lot. Plus when I got the expansion it gave me like 4 more unlocks!

Unranked servers are usually empty, so it'd be best to go ranked :D. Also, best maps IMO are Strike at Karkand,Mashtuur City,Dalian Plant,Sharqi Peninsula, and Wake 2007;)

oh yes, and BF2 name --------------> liquid_impulse
go figure.:p

As for SF, I really dont think you should go that way. EA's got enuf bugs and glitches under its belt with BF2 and they decide to release SF?!? big no no. I suggest only going for a SF server when all the bugs and glitches have been sorted out, As well as a larger majority of people playing it. I for one, am sticking to BF2 for now.

I would prefer:

Ranked
64 Players
All Maps
No Time limit

I do not have SF at the moment, but will likely purchase it in the relatively near future.

I like Spec Ops for the extra weapons, but still prefer to play original BF2 city maps. Strike, Mashur..
And will AT server be bunny hopper friendly? :D (people still complain after the patch..)

Vote for no SF support. Most of us dont have it.. and I dont plan on getting it.
I dont care what version you use, latest version is fine.

32 or 64player would be optimal. Dont care about the rest. I'm a really crappy player so if the server is created be nice to me. I do enjoy participating though.
