Do you use the Vista "Games" tab?

I like the setup but some games, especially old ones, don't always show up there.

Not really, I keep all my game short cuts in their own folder, which I add to the Stardock launch bar app.

not sure what you mean by games tab. i use the classic theme and i hate it when games don't install a shortcut to the desktop and i have to switch to the vista theme and copy them over and switch back.
maybe i should just get used to the vista theme...

You really like Classic theme? That's the most butt ugly theme in existence IMO :^D I like a couple of the sub themes of Classic(Rainy Day, Spruce), but they aren't available in Vista :^/

I launch all my games directly in a file manager program called Turbo Navigator (which I always have open). I never keep any games in the start menu or desktop.

Yeah. For newer games. Some older ones, I can't do that with, though.

Yeah i use it. For older ones that dont show up i just drag their desktop shorcut into the games folder thing. Looks like crap because theres no pretty icon to click on but it works.

I use a program called "Vista Game Explorer Editor" to add older games and thier box art. It works great and I haven't found a older game I could not get the box art for. I have over 100 games installed and all them are in Vista Game Explorer with the box art. It looks good. I also added the Vista Game Explorer Icon to my rocket dock to organize everything.

What's the "Games" tab? I do use Vista's Games Explorer, if that's what you mean. It works sort of like Steam in that it'll have a shortcut to all games that are registered with it.

With Vista, certain games (like the ones that are "Games for Windows Live), get added to Games Explorer with no corresponding Start Menu shortcut, and I'm too lazy to find the executable and create a real shortcut. Plus, it seems like the Explorer is able to detect non-Live games after you launch them, and will automatically add them (along with box art thumbnails).

I like having a clean desktop. I use ObjectDock on the top, and RocketDock on the left side. Both are hidden, so I have access to all of my programs, and a clean desktop.

nope.. games go on the desktop. it's the only thing i keep on the desktop besides explorer/my computer

anything that goes to game explorer you can drag/drop and create shortcut from that window to anywhere or go manually to the .exe and do it that way.

nope, most games I play are through steam, (L4D and TF2 mostly for now) so there is no point using it.

I use it if the game doesn't create a start menu item. I'll make some shortcuts to the desktop if I need to bypass something, say a launcher or some such.
