Yes or No? Do you use a screen saver? I used to, but decided they're not for me.

Looks like I'm the odd one out. I use one particular Screen Saver. It's the one by Sach's (sp) and you can get it from Serene Screen. Gotta be the best 3D virtual Fish Tank screen Saver ever.

I use the Starfield SS because it doesn't put off very little light in a dark room. However, my monitor powers down to a black screen after 20mins.....go figure.

I think screensavers are pretty cool, but I'd rather save power so I turn off my monitor instead.

Edit: Oh yeah, and it'd kill my Seti times.

screen saver scrolls its own source code

I generally don't, but I like this screen saver.

I have the computer put on Standby after like an hour. the monitor's still on but its all black.

Not too irritating, and there's no wait coming off screensaver.

i use Particle Fire because i think it looks cool. you can use it for free, after several minutes it starts displaying a "pay for this its a wonderful thing and youve been using it god knows how long for free" message, but its not obnoxious, and...i rarely see it since i use standby after a short while

anyway...10 minutes til particle fire, then another 10 until standby on monitor
