Use an icicle to stab the person to death and then melt the disposable weapon.
Or
Cement the gun/knife inside a metal coffee can with an eyelet coming out of it. Tie a long rope onto the eyelet and drop it into a lake. Instant home-made boat anchor, with no suspicion of your weapon.

Assuming the crime was absolutely senseless, motiveless, and properly planned getting away with it would be pretty trivial. You'd have to be rather a sick puppy to bother, though.
