Do you think what the skateboarder did to the McLaren is justified?

That could have been me in an 80's Yugo - I'd have ran over that bastard with my car, then go and slap his mother in the face. An eye for an eye is my motto.

Would have been better if he set the car on fire. Not because the driver made a mistake, but because he was an asshole after making the mistake. No business behind the wheel of any car.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

The driver is responsible for any damage/medical bills that the skateboard suffered.

The skateboarder should have to pay for a new windshield.

Handling the situation like an adult would have been the appropriate course of action.

No one is ever justified in destroying someone else's property.

There's no medical bills for the dead. Just got to accelerate hard enough.

Are you sure about that?

I was also talking about the YT comments and even the comments on this forum. Many people hate the rich. Why? Jealousy.

People need to audit what their doing everyday. Me included! If you want wealth are you willing to hustle. Weekends, on holidays, etc.. Are you willing to give up Netflix, video games, your weekend baseball games. If not, then don't bitch about other people having money.

BTW, the driver was an a-hole. No doubt he's a jerk. He was in the wrong. But, many people feel he deserved having his window smashed in because he was driving a very expensive car. That's all I'm saying.

Lay off the amazing, inspirational, powerful-story, how-I-got-rich books.

I just watched the video. If that's what counts for evidence these days, I'm going to post a video of Elvis and Shirley McClain in my hot tub.

Internet forum comments\youtube <> real life.
Real life is someone losing their temper because some dick run stops sign and causes them to fall. Real life is some dick in the car yelling at the guy who falls because "reasons".
Real life is guy who is already pissed about falling off his skateboard is now even more issued about some douche in the car yelling at him so hits the car with his skateboard.

The only people talking "value of the car" are people who have nothing to do with the incident.

Look, I've almost ran over a few skaters. They are hard to see, move quick, and have a similar profile to the front pillars of most vehicles. Is what it is. That said, he had no right to smash this guy's windshield.

There's two points in life when people do this kind of thing and it really determines your level of control over your self.

A. I'm impulsive, don't give a shit, I'll worry about the consequences later.
B. Yeah, I can afford to do this.

Intentionally damaging someone elses property damage is wrong. It doesn't matter what the value of the property is.
If its a $1500 car the driver can depends on or a 280K toy that is just another leased throwaway car in the garage...doesn't matter.

The issue that does come up is when douchebags decide they can afford the consequence of their action.

You forgot forums.😉

Destroying inanimate objects that don't belong to you is effing stupid, the skater's a maroon. You get in people's grill not their car.

Agreed 100%. I'd never slash someones tires or do something to their personal items because of a dick move on their part. Bring it to their face or involve law enforcement or whatever, but destroying someone's property because of something they did as a person is just immature and juvenile.

And you people who think its justified that the skateboarder did that are no better.

You can hear the kid's skateboard crossing at the beginning of the video, before the car is anywhere near the stop sign.

The driver clearly runs the stop sign, and ends up stopping in the middle of the cross walk, after either hitting, or nearly hitting the skateboarder. This happened mostly off screen, so we'll assume that the car didn't hit the skateboarder but made him fall, like the person who filmed said.

The driver, who nearly hit the skateboarder then honks at him, and either the driver or the passenger says "fucking move bitch", or something similar.

I can't blame the kid from having a temporary lapse of judgement under those circumstances.

I blame both people, moreso the driver for honking his horn, but in my mind's eye, this is "probably" what happened.

Skateboarder was in the right of way in the street/crosswalk. Driver comes up and doesn't stop (runs the stop sign) and spooks the skateboarder or maybe even knocks him down. Skateboarder gets up and stands in the middle of the crosswalk staring down the driver or possibly even flips him off. Driver is tired of waiting because the skateboarder is just standing there being a douche and honks. Skateboarder breaks windshield and then runs off like a pussy.

Did this happen? Possibly. Don't know for sure, but the skateboarder crowd draws the type of people who do stupid shit like that. Ticket the driver, skateboarder owes the driver for the cost of a windshield and community service.
