It's too bad Costco doesn't carry your CD set, you can take it home, rip it to your iPod and return the set for full refund a year later w/ just 1 CD case from the set.

Being a former B&N employee, no. And you only have yourself to blame, never buy anything from that store. It's ALWAYS cheaper somewhere else.

The sugar cookies in the cafe are dynamite though, have never seen them in standalone starbucks.

Sometimes they put surplus hardback books on super sale and you can get one for $5. Other than that, no, no real reason to buy there.

Well if you want it today where would you go.

I do like their hardcover deals though. My wife's father loves WWII/Military and 40's Car books. He doesn't really speak english nor read it, but we can get a nice big book to send (and then get raped on USPS mail :) ) to him.

He was a teenager during the war/40's and it's when he met my MIL.

Whoa, Jesus, this thread blew up. OP here (remember me?).

Anywho, I decided just to hang onto my purchase. Before alkey or any others start congratulating themselves, it wasn't because of you (I "made up bullshit"? Seriously?)-I think you can take your "immoral" and "unethical" branding of me and shove it up your ass. I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle. From now on, I probably just won't shop there anymore, knowing how much they overcharge.

They didn't overcharge though...they have to support a retail facility and have your item actually on the shelf. Amazon can leverage several distributors and have to keep no inventory of their own.

It's good you did the right thing, but don't walk away thinking you still got screwed.
