that's all it ever takes... just a simple apology for proving them wrong.

note to self: work on not proving women wrong as much... it'd make life a lot easier.

As a front man for the anti death penalty cause, you're not doing very well, I've seen you insult others and now demean women, strong work dude.

oh, shut up. go watch some fox news.

it's not my opinion. it's a fact. he's been active in trying to keep people from joining gangs (regardless of his motivations, he was still an anti-gang activist). he's written books about not joining gangs. how is that being a negative influence?

You mean the one book that sold barely over 300 copies (that went into the hands of Hollywood nannies to read to the elite's children) or the other book that sold 2 fvcking copies?

that's "barely 300" (or about 400) people who got tookie's anti-gang message

Okay, I donated $50 to the hurricane relief fund. That gives me clemency to go out and rape a chick?

i think this is the 7th time tonight where someone doesn't understand the concept of clemency of someone on death row.

The thing is his meta message of let's get Hollywood idiots involved & destroy the community is just a bit larger methinks...

And that's the big picture, the SOB murdered 4 people (that he was convicted of) has never admitted guilt, and is leveraging the threat of riots for clemency so he can get his convictions overturned.

That's the message he's giving the black community.

I perfectly understand the concept. However, the courts have ruled, time and time again, that he is guilty. Nothing is going to change that. The law is the law. You do the crime, you pay the price. Unless you'd have us totally remove the teeth of the justice system because, "He's done some good deeds." If you believe in Karma, this dude oughta be remade as a dung beetle or something.

question:

how do or anyone know if they 'got it' how many read it and thought tookie was a sell out? howmany read it and thought it was pure crap? how many read it and thought they would follow it and then a few months later fell by the wayside?

there is no way to prove if one single solitary person or a all 302 ... changed their lives because of him.

🙂

There has to be legal grounds for clemency. or it has to be thru mercy, if the guilty party is genuninely repentent.

neither of these apply in this case.

you don't have to have your life changed in order for something to have an effect on you. every interaction affects someone in some way.... every interaction.

He should be.

If he wasnt going to be executed then people would point and say " Look you can kill 4 people, then change your life around in prison and not die!!"

So we're to agree to clemency for a possible butterfly effect from his books?

What kind of butterfly effects do riots have?

Saw some dude walking around w/ a big ass sign that says "Execution Is Murder Too" today. I was about to roundhouse kick his face.

thats one hell of a feat. You'd probably be able to perform self feliacio.

I dont see whats so hard to understand, he killed people (i mean come on, he started the crips, are we supposed to believe that he didnt kill anyone?) and then was convicted and sentenced to death. Anyone who believes that he shouldnt because hes a nice guy now is full of sh1t.
