Hes worth more alive than dead.
How do figure? And worth more to who?

I personally believe that every human being is worth more alive than dead. If he dies, his knowledge of his past, his life, all of the things he hasnt written down is gone. He is worth more to society as long as he continues writing and spreading his message. You learn from the past to not repeat history. You cant learn if the past is lost.
And what of the four people he murdered? Their lives meant nothing? It's amazing how you don't seem to think about them and what more they may have accomplished if they had lived longer.

So killing Tookie will bring them back? So we teach our children revenge is not the way to go but we do it ourselves?

Learn from the guy who wrote children's books that barely sold? Learn from the guy that started the Crips gang, and killed innocent people? No thanks I'd rather not learn from him.

How about learn from his victims? They were never given the chance to spread their message, they weren't given 25 years to contemplate their life and to tell others about it.

Personally, I'm celebrating when this son of a bitch dies. I'm breaking out the sparklie and getting me some ****** streamers. Happy execution day!

If by "common sense" you mean someone who will nod their head in admiration at your every word, I suggest you go talk to a mirror.

Otherwise, the actual common sense you have demonstrated here has been pretty much nonsensical ranting and misguided ideology.

" So killing Tookie will bring them back?"

No, it means that we won't have to hear from the media endlessly trying to portray this loser as some reformed elder statesman adnauseum.

Executing Tookie Williams is not punishment or revenge. It's justice.

It is pretty much true. Where are the statements from Tookie saying: "No matter what happens lets have peace." Nope, not from that guy, he was never reformed -- he just wanted out of jail.

then what would you call it? rioting NEVER is a positive.

if they go out and use the excuse of his death to cause destruction and steal (from there community which is stupid) then that shows he is still influencing them.

Yea, explain that. If it causes riots, how will that show he influenced people in a good way?

BTW, just kill the guy.

The DA, the jury, the judge, the appeals courts, the California Supreme Court, the governor of California, the United States Supreme Court. All have decided that this is just.

Exactly, he's playing chicken with the threat of riots.

Unfortunately for Kalifornia the bastard passed along his genes prior to the execution.

One's already in San Quentin, the other raped a 13 year old at gunpoint last month.

I guess they didn't read his books.

oh, ok... so you know the guy? you hang out with him in his cell? you know his soul?

please.

and everyone knows he's never going to get out of jail... he wasn't trying to get out. he was just trying not to get executed.

whether he found God or was reformed or whatever is not exactly up to us to judge. it was up to those who denied him.... and in a few hours, it will be up to God.

shame.
