It's getting bigger and bigger.

They have Occupyboston, DC, Philly and Las Vegas today. Whether you are working or not, who can disagree that mega corps are all jerking each other off and puppeteering the government?

Do you think it'll get big and make a big impact somehow?

Do you think it'll just die down?

Pretty sure Vegas was Thursday. Anyways I figure it'll die down. Its mostly, as usual, a bunch of college kids who are coming to the realization that oh shit the gravy train known as college is coming to an end and its time to grow up and get a job.

So they get pissed because no they have to provide for themselves and protest. Nothing is going to change.

And the funny thing is they are bitching because they cannot find a job when there are plenty of jobs available in the military.

I'm still not clear on what everyone's pissed about. Who are the protesters primarily? Democrats? Union workers? Just a general jumble of unemployed people? Are they mad because they don't have jobs? Are they mad because rich people exist?

How is this going to transform anything? Ultimately, are we going to have to lynch the top 1%, take all their money, and redistribute it? Would that even solve anything? Is that even what the occupiers want?

All I'm getting from this "Life sucks and we're pissed about it".

-All the corp tax loop holes

-All the bailouts to auto industry, banks, etc.

-Fucking retard Wall St. selling rotten deals knowingly and making billions. Oh, get a slap on the wrist from Govt and pay $20 mil in punitive damage, because govt doesn't have the brains to know what Wall St. is actually doing.

How can you disagree with these?

Considering that it is a manufactured movement it has little chance of lasting. It took the hippies til very late morning to show up in Houston and my friend works in the building overseeing where they were protesting and he said there were maybe 200 people. The news tried to make it look like more by not shooting any wide angles.

Considering their demands it isn't going anywhere anyway.

Maybe they'd have jobs if they spent that time polishing up their resume instead of standing in front of buildings.

How about all the personal tax loops holes? Funny I dont hear much in the way of having the 47% who pay NOTHING have to start ponying up a bit......

You mean the bailouts the Democrats pushed down our throats, the ones the Republicans didnt want?

Banks used to only lend to qualified buyers. The feds said that was discriminatory. Just not FAIR. So then they had to lend to everyone and gee, the bums couldnt pay. So then it was classified as predatory. Maybe the .gov should step out of the way and let the banks lend to who they feel are acceptable candidates?

I disagree because these are by and large government made problems. The LAST thing we need is more government.

Corp's innate nature is to be a wolf- that is to suck every ounce of profit they can.

What? Banks lent to shitty buyers with no discretion because they wanted to suck every ounce of the blood, just before the housing crash. How did the govt force them to do this?

Hell, I'm not even into politics, even I'm not naive to know THE GUBMENT forced the banks. WTF?

Bailouts are done by POLITICIANS, democrats or not. They took our tax money and went for it.

Did you conveniently forget about the rotten deals at Wall St? They are out to MAKE money, regardless of everyone they fuck in the process.
This is not politics for me (or the protesters). It's not about Government vs Corps, or Democrats vs Conservative. They're all jerking each other off while average joe is fucked in the ass.

The Occupywallst movement is not partisan if you've actually paid attention. It's the right-wing media (fox) that's making them out to be, because they're threatened.

Nobody want real change. That's why we keep getting the same assholes in office, and keep getting fucked over year after year. Real change hurts. Real change means you need to give things up for the betterment of everybody, and a solid future for the country.

We're gonna keep slowly spinning down the toilet, and the empire will be gone. I predict it'll take less than a hundred years, and my money is it'll be within 50 years.

Sad thing is just like the teaparty movement, for every one person that is serious about it; you have 10+ others just jumping on for the anarchy/chaos/bullshit aspect.

I do believe our country needs a kick in a different direction and some serious spring cleaning...however; people who hold high places must be the ones to start (to quote Neal Peart).

Not sure how you're figuring that it was the Democrats that shoved it, considering the Republicans had the White House when they started.

No. They will die down and go nowhere. This country will not change. It will take more effort than most are willing to give, and more sacrifice than most are willing to make.

We will continue to spiral downhill until a full out collapse, that's the sad truth.

To really have any actual change would require a COMPLETE replacing of essentially our entire government, which would not happen. And even if it did, a drastic series of law changes, to include making lobbying illegal, campaign funding needs to be drastically changed as well. If these changes aren't made and there was a complete replacing of the government, we'd end up in the same position.

The problem comes down to money, and it's not the fact that politicians are corrupt, it's the fact that it is legal for them to make money while being a member of the government from other sources, other than their government paycheck. Most people would end up taking the money from the lobbyists and padding their pockets where they could if they knew there were no consequences. It doesn't matter what their intentions were before they took office, money rules everything.

I guarantee our government would be ran differently if the government member's only source of income were ONLY their government check.

Until that happens, you can occupy wall street, be a tea partier, a democrat, a republican, none of that will matter.

Thats the simple truth.

The best we can HOPE for now is a CHANGE from the status quo, which will never happen.

There's still a very small minority of communists in this country, no it will not turn into anything. These people are the fringe marxists and the rest of America knows exactly what they are.

Nothing more than a bunch of dirty, dirty hippies.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...g-photos-protester-defecating-POLICE-CAR.html

This are the shocking scenes that have led some people to accuse the Occupy Wall Street protesters living rough in New York's financial district of creating unsanitary and filthy conditions.

Exclusive pictures obtained by Mail Online show one demonstrator relieving himself on a police car.

Elsewhere we found piles of stinking refuse clogging Zucotti Park, despite the best efforts of many of the protesters to keep the area clean.

The shocking images demonstrate the extent to which conditions have deteriorated as demonstrations in downtown Manhattan enter their fourth week. Further pictures seen by Mail Online have been censored, as we deemed them too graphic to show.
