absolutely not. you're only telling for YOUR benefit, either to brag or to get it off your mind. and hearing about it can only be a negative experience for your SO. so if you care about their feelings, you'll just keep it to yourself. you didn't cheat, so there's nothing for anyone to worry about, but your poor SO will worry anyway.

i would compare it to seeing a dead deer on the highway. i didn't like seeing it, and i'd like to talk about it with her, but i know she loves animals and it would only upset her to hear about it. so i keep it to myself.

I'll point it out if a girl is checking me out while my wife is there. She actually takes it as a positive thing, like "yeah, he's mine". Its a win-win situation.

Why try to hold back the truth? I'll openely make comments about girls to my wife, as well as comment on guys she might be checking out. Like another poster said, we're still going home together and not with anyone else.

Could be interpreted as:

1. You're bragging
2. You're trying to make her jealous

Yep, I take it as a compliment when it happens.

We both still check other guys out, but that's what guys do. We point out the cute ones to each other.
