It seems like when women get hit on they will hide that fact from their bf more than men will.

I like to bust the guys checking out my wife when we are in the gym working out. :) The looks on their face is priceless when they look up from sneeking peeks at my wife and they see me looking at them.

One day you're going to catch the guy checking you out.

those guys are all in jazzercise class.

exactly, I mean how are you supposed to tell your gf, "hey guess what, some girl was totally hitting on me today." I mean if you are as good looking as me that's like telling her the sky is blue ;) Might as well leave it unsaid, unless the girl was all over you out of no where and you are like WTF?

well, just cuz mommy says you are..isnt always true. she has to tell you those things.

What's wrong with admitting you're attractive?

I'm attractive, I've been called "very hot" many times, I've been approached for modeling (not high-profile stuff mind you but have been approached nonetheless).

I KNOW I'm attractive...I'm confident that when I walk into a room that women WILL check me out...it's not like I go around saying I'm hot ****** but...I think it's healthy to have confidence in your appearance.

I know she tells me (or at least has so far), and I believe I'd tell her if someone hit on me.

She usually tells me when *I'm* being hit on. I'm pretty oblivious to it. We'll be at a bar or out and a about and she'll look over and say something along the lines of "That girl was totally hitting on you!".

My response: "I thought she was just being nice".

If my wife is out of town on a conference is at a bar and gets hit on, she usually tells me that she had some guys that she had to beat away with a stick. I guess wedding rings don't quite put out the "I'm taken" vibe they once did.

There's a fine line between confident and cocky. Both your post and the OP's, come across as being the latter, IMO.

if your SO is attractive its assumed they get hit on. If you can't deal with it you need to work on your insecurities.

I don't realize I have been hit on for at least an year. So it would be pretty lame to tell my SO about the total babe who might have been hitting on me back in '06.

absolutely not. you're only telling for YOUR benefit, either to brag or to get it off your mind. and hearing about it can only be a negative experience for your SO. so if you care about their feelings, you'll just keep it to yourself. you didn't cheat, so there's nothing for anyone to worry about, but your poor SO will worry anyway.

i would compare it to seeing a dead deer on the highway. i didn't like seeing it, and i'd like to talk about it with her, but i know she loves animals and it would only upset her to hear about it. so i keep it to myself.

Yeah, my girlfriend laughs when I tell her. I'm sure guys hit on her too, but I know that she's always coming back to me, so I never sweat it.
