I stopped wearing a watch for awhile (about a year) some time ago. However, I wear one now, and it also serves as my alarm clock though I take it off at night. Nothing fancy -- it's a utilitarian Timex.

I also have a dive watch for, shockingly, scuba diving, and I have a plain metal watch for business meetings/interviews.

I cannot use my cellphone where I work so that's not an option. I also like having the ability to set the timer, either countdown or stopwatch.

I wear a watch because it looks good to wear one. I think it just looks funny in a professional business environment when someone is not wearing a watch.

i  my tag ;)
