The only place I actually some them called Freedom Fries was at a diner in a small town (where we were treated very racistly [my girlfriend is not white] and left before even ordering).
I have always, and will always, call them frenched fried potatoes.
Is she Asian? Just curious. I come from a mixed family myself.
