whats with these lame words like manscaping? its fuckin retarded, and probably only funny in the company of other dumb people. Now that they have that lame dating commercial where the guy says it to the girl, every guy thinks he funny saying manscaping. People that say that word should be beaten unconscious. <end rant>

HELL NO!

WTF is up with this metrosexual fetish to shave? Are you all secretly into pedophilia? (oooh, soft as a baby's behind!)

Granted, some people MAY have a need to keep things trimmed, (models, porn stars, etc.) but the average person? Nope.

That's not necessarily true. When it grows back for me, it does not itch. Just bugs the crap out of me when it starts sticking to underwear.

Man - shave - yes - since I was 19.

Most men like their women shaved/trimmed. Women (In my experience), feel the same way.
For one, it's hygienic, two it just looks better. Hairy neither regions to me looks like someone that is dirty and un-kept. Just my opinion.

I'm surprised at the poll results, it appears to be around 50/50 for both genders!

Male - 22 - No, but I do trim

I've considered shaving, I'd do it if my girlfriend of 2 years asked me to. She loves my hairy chest, so I assume she either likes it or doesn't care.

Why was it that you immediately made the jump to pedophilia? Everyone else is having a mature, adult conversation. Do you often find yourself thinking about pedophilia when other people are discussing sexuality? You may want to see a psychiatrist about this. I'm being 100% serious here. I'm concerned.

Seriously? It might be worth trying, just to see what it's like.

Explain this, if it makes sense for models / etc, why doesn't it make sense for the average person? The only reason I can come up with is it is "ok" for the average person to look worse than a model.

I couldn't agree more with you on this one. Where the hell is the connection, except perhaps in this poster's (convoluted) mind?

Those non-cut trimmers are pretty great, because you can just run it over and not have to worry.
