Do you say 'wicked'

Growing up in Massachusetts I never realized that people using the term wicked, as in "oh that car is wicked cool" is a regional thing. When I went to college, (in Massachusetts ironically), most of the people were from NY or Chicago. Whenever I used the term 'wicked' I got ripped on mercilessly. I was just reading another post here where some guy was ripping on his wife for saying it. Is it really just a Massachusetts thing?

I'm not from Massachusetts, and I don't use it. I am from Northern California though, so I do use "hella" which is used in pretty much the same way as "wicked" is.

<-- From MA, I don't use it every day, but "wicked" pops up here and there. I'll admit to having a shirt that says "Wicked Pissah" across it :p

I'm not a stuck up Boston a-hole, so no I don't use it.

Plus it makes no sense grammatically.

I grew up on the opposite end of the state, it's not really just a Boston thing, it's a Massachusetts thing

Sometimes I find myself saying wicked meaning "cool" or "awesome", but not often. I never use it in its proper sense.

I had never heard of it, then I went to college in Mass. and everyone said it. I sort of picked it up after a year or two. (For some reason I adopt regional language quirks easily... it's happened other places than Mass., as well.) After moving away from Mass., it dropped out of my vocabulary after a little while, without the reinforcement of everyone else saying it too.

I voted "I'm just randomly clicking poll options."

very very rarely, like maybe once a month. usually "wicked clapper" - ie. a crazy slapshot.

Not from MA, and I rarely use it, but it's not always in the proper sense. Poll fail.

note for those unaware: Massachusetts wicked is an adverb that sort of means "very". Using wicked as an adjective to mean "cool" is something different.
