Sounds like something you teenagers do in the bathroom for hours and hours.

I think this dude just leaked out of the hood...

I touched 150 yesterday, my friend has modded his 92' Honda civic and she flies like a biatch.🙂....engine redlines at 8000 RPM....
Highly doubtful that you even came close to 150 at all.

The civic is a rally bred civic........comes with a modded supercharger, wild camshafts, modded ECU kit, high compression ratio and very tall gearing.....I am not talking about the stock civic. BEsides the suspension and the chassis has been strengthened near the struts using strut braces blah blah blah. A stock civic should touch
a 110mph i presume.....

Wow all that work and he managed to turn a decent slow economy minded car into a half assed attempt at a sports car thats most likely bad riding, loud, uses premium gas and it's still slow. 🙂

Thats precisely my point.........such a tiny economiser touching a 150 mph was something I never experienced before in such a small car......I have a bigger car but I never have taken her above 100.

And I doubt you saw 135, let alone 150...

Did you read that it was a modded civic meant for rallying? DO you know cars like the octavia WRC produce 300+ bhp??the Civic is similarly sized to the octavia. I touched 240kmph on the speedo to be precise with the needle sweeping across completely so I basically did a 150mph

130mph on my stock 92' corolla 4AFE 105hp 1.6L 5sp manual
The speedometer needle was pointing STRAIGHT DOWN! :Q
The thing wasn't even redlined yet, after I got to 120mph on 4th gear, and it was still accelerating pretty consistently.

Total BS.
I have lived in India for a long time and there is no road there on which you can touch 150mph. Not even a race track where you'll be able to hit 150mph.

My car tops out at 140 km/h... I've hit 135 km/h... any further acceleration is stressing the end of the last gear.

I love my Dodge Shadow 😀

OK, I'll bite. I have a Subaru Impreza GF8. Mildly modded. I would estimate about 240BHP, soon to be proven with a trip to the rollers. So I know nothing about cars, modded or otherwise or WRC or outputs in general...

I also have had or still have Civics ranging from the 1.6i-16 to the 1.6 VTi(160hp stock).

So. Does this Civic have 300hp? And if it is meant for rallying, why does it have gearing that allows for such high speeds?

135.

Consider for a moment that your speedo is not even close to accurate...

dude... have you been on the Bombay-Pune expressway??? Even roads down in the south of india allow for speeds as high as 160-170 Km/hr. Personally done 150 on an Indica, and 170 on a lancer. Speedo reads are kinda wonky after 60-80km.hr for any car though.

Highly doubtful that you even came close to 150 at all unless this ricer has a good few hundred horse power 🙂

150 isn't hard to touch with mods
