Seeing as my Monte Carlo SS has been in the shop, I have been driving my parents Mustang GT, and I prefer the V6.

Of course I'd prefer my daily driver to have a big V-8 under the hood ... provided sombody else pays for the gas!

Nope. I'd be perfectly happy with a 1.8l, naturally aspirated, 4 cylinder engine in a car that weighs 1900lbs.

Edit-Oops, it's a 1.8l engine.

I'm pretty sure the V8 in the Monte is a piece of crap, as far as V8s go.

Since he didn't specify, I'll just have to assume he would also be fine with a 2.0L engine in a 1973 Super Beetle :)

What kind of car?

Muscle car? Absolutely.

Sportscar? Give me a smaller turbocharged engine. (Ideally a turbocharged, air-cooled, flat-6 hung out behind the rear axle...)

they are indeed nice cars.

me? My Dakota is v6, but I bought it used that way and it does the trick. However, I want the Dodge Challenger that is coming out next year. My plan? Get the SRT model that will come with the obvious 6.0+L V8, and get it used about 2 or 3 years after that model is released. Plus, if all goes to plan, I'll have been shipped out somewhere and won't have any use for it till I'm home anyhow. :D
