I don't use it because I use Trillian which interfaces to its network, in addition to the other 3 major ones. Before Trillian, I used ICQ because it was better.

I use AIM because all my friends do. I like it enough with AIM+. I don't use Trillian because it is bloated and annoying.

use aim+, saves your convos, gets rid of the ads...no skinning, but skins are lame
