You can skin it.... it's called using WinXP. It logs with any of the number of addons, which also happen to remove ads.

I use whichever clients the people I'm talking to are using. For me, that's MSN and AIM, and consolidated by using Trillian.

I like Trillian's auto-logging. It logs every conversation without my having to do anything. Lets me talk with the people I know on MSN too, which is nice.

i decided that i hate instant messaging. i guess i'm just not big on chitchat anymore, and when people constantly msg me it can get annoying. i also have received advertisements, chain letters, and every other "boon of the Internet" while instant messaging. for a long time, i left my IM client connected with myself set to "hidden" but after while realized i may as well not even have it installed.

I use AIM with AIM+. I don't know anyone that uses ICQ that doesn't have AIM. And with AIM+, there's no ads and it keeps a history. I don't care about skinning AIM. Winamp and Windows is enough.

My question, though, is what's the difference between AIM+ and DeadAIM, if there is? Are they just two programs that more or less do the same thing?
