Do you need fewer than 150 strokes? About 150? More?

How many strokes do you think you need?

  • Markedly less than 150.

  • Probably about 150 if they say so.

  • Definitely more than 150. I'm so hirsute I belong in Civil War pics..

Commercial on TV said on average a man needs 150 strokes of the razor to shave his beard. What do you think your number is?

Since I don't shave every day, I probably need more than 150. If daily, probably average.

BTW, if you don't shave because you prefer the Aqualung sitting on a park bench looking at little girls with bad intent look, that counts as less than 150. 😛

I thought that this was going to be about something else.

My facial hair is trivial. Easily less than 150. Probably not even 50, although I'll have to count. I am a bit unkempt right now...

Thats correct, within an order of magnitude. Close enough for any scientist.

Counted myself this morning - 14 strokes

This is with a Gillette M3 Power razor [3 blades]

I shave about every 3 days - have a baby face :|

I am well past puberty and I still don't really grow facial hair. I shave about every two weeks and it usually takes about 20-30 strokes. Most of those are on the upper lip cause I can't figure out how to do less without cutting my lip.

Snot dripping down your nose?

Greasy fingers? Shabby cloh-OHthes?

Back OT.. No clue. I only shave in the shower when using a blade. If I try a dry shave like I used to I turn into a zit-farm the next day from all the little cuts. (/me gets itchy).

If you are talking about small strokes, it could easily be 50-100 depending on how long it has been and whether I am using a mirror or not.
