How many strokes do you think you need?

  • Markedly less than 150.

  • Probably about 150 if they say so.

  • Definitely more than 150. I'm so hirsute I belong in Civil War pics..

When I use an electric razor I feel like I have to go over every square inch of my face 150+ times. With a standard razor it only takes 1, 2 at the most. So maybe 15 strokes total, plus any touchups around my goatee.

Having just counted, about 60 per pass. Which means about 60 most days, as I'm lazy.

One blade, as well, so none of that silly "x3" stuff.

I shaved this morning, I usually shave once a week. But I used 20 strokes. If I shaved every day, it would be like 5 or 10 strokes only.

I thought that this was going to be about something else.

My facial hair is trivial. Easily less than 150. Probably not even 50, although I'll have to count. I am a bit unkempt right now...

Just counted a couple days ago and it was about 130, and I skipped my neckbeard. My ability to estimate is poor.

I counted and it was around 50 strokes.

Of course, hamburgerboy could probably do me in fewer than 50 strokes. :p

I usually do it in fewer than 150 strokes. The number goes up much higher if you include the little strokes that I do. I don't do the long sweeping strokes too often because it usually cuts my face easier. Some areas require a lot of small strokes too. (Chin and upper lip area)
