Only on the weekends, there is usually always someone in it during the week. I get home at 7am, wife gets up at 7am. I go to bed at 1pm and am in it till 9pm and she is back in it at 9-10pm. So the only time no one is in it is from 7am-1pm. 6 hours or so.

<<<<< In my defense, I make the bed right before we go to bed so that the covers are even. If the covers are even, there's less chance that one of us will steal the covers from the other. >>>>>

Then you say -- 1, 2, 3, go -- - and run for the covers? -- - - and may the best man win? ;)

No way, like everyone else said, it's going to be messed up anyway. The farthest I will go if I have people coming in is just to pull the quilt a bit higher, but I surely wouldn't consider that making the bed.

Yes, it takes me less than 20 seconds and it improves my mood when I see that my bed is as clean as my room

*looks round his room and notices cables and computerparts lying everywhere*

or maybe not...

Well, at least one part of my room is cleaned up then ;)

I don't usual do it, beacuse of the same logic. I know that I will just mess it up again in a few hours. However when I get in that cleaning mode I will make it up.

I have to pull my comforter up on my bed. I, like Viper, have a waterbed, and it has to be covered or you will have a freezing bed that night. Not a good thing.

Not only do I not make the bed I don't even have any sheets. Just sleep on the raw matress w/ no pillow. The only drawbacks are druel and the occasional acne breakout.

Here's another question, how often does everyone change their sheets. I change them every 2 weeks or so. Some people think that is too often, but it feels so good to have nice clean sheets. If you make your bed every day when you get out of bed, there will be less wrinkles and that fresh feeling will last longer. I love that.

This morning I realized how OCD I can be when I tried to make my side even though vi_edit was still in bed. :( I think I have a problem. :( ;)

Nope! My mom hired a maid who does though, I never saw a point I mean I'm just going back to bed in it!
