Do you like your job?

not diggin the idea of having to head to Wilmington in a couple hours, effectively killing my Sunday. But otherwise, hey, at least I'm still employed.

I love my job. Sure there are aggravating days but in general I love my job, money could be better though.

in these tough times I have realized I am VERY fortunate... not because I simply have a job, but a job where the work is ideal for me and I don't have to leave the house. I have at times thought about what it would be like to have to compete with all the unemployed at interviews, have to "get ready" for work again, and have to do the 9-5 thing w/ commute every damn day and it makes me work that much harder to keep what I have going.

Do you work at a screen door factory?

Yes, I do like my job. I just celebrated 5 years and look forward to the next 5. I can't believe they pay me to do this stuff.

I like my job and the company. I consider myself pretty lucky to have a job I look forward to doing each day.

No I fucking hate it. HATE IT.

At least it's union and I can tell my boss to fuck off whenever things don't work as they should. Looking for something better and hopefully will find something soon.

Don't have one anymore, so..last job was alright, at least I got a nice severance package..hoping that the next one, wherever it is, will be more exciting.

Yes. It's like getting paid for what was once a hobby.
Great working environment, bosses who really do seem to give a damn about their employees, and a 40hr work week (typically).

just started a new job last week... like it so far, though training is kinda boring. spent all week shadowing people instead of actually doing work.

You have to tell us what that would be.

Hate it because I really have no interest is working as a network administrator. Just ended up that way. My only saving grace is that it is a low stress environment and other than being given general assignments for projects I pretty much work unsupervised.

My company has become too large for its own good. Too much bureaucracy and too much kissing the governments ass. The CEO is trying so desperately to keep the company growing and keep the shareholders happy, but I can't imagine our company remaining profitable without selling off divisions, departments, or laying off a good 10-15%. We're simply not dynamic enough to be productive. My department has little to do with manufacturing for instance, however I have to go through 3 departments and read through 10 SOP's just to get one task done. Everything is made redundant.

Whoops! Sorry I got to stop what I'm doing, and go take another ethics or compliance training course. Meanwhile, our marketing and sales division are ripping off Medicare.....it's hysterical!

Its a job. I have had better jobs and I've had worse. The pay is good and the people are awesome though.

Do I like it? Yes.
Is it my dream job? No (when is Playboy going to call me about that photographer position????)
