You might as well cut off your d!ck right now. I liked it when it was Structure

Yeah, I had a lot from Structure before it became Express, but now I still shop quite a bit at Express. I really do enjoy the clothing. As for A&F, I bought sweaters and khakis there years ago, but haven't made any purchases of late aside from a few button down shirts, etc.. I don't care for anything with a name brand scrawled across the breast or anything so anything I do get is pretty plain.

Yeah Express's quality was good, and their prices weren't that bad either. However, where the fvck can you go with a pink oxford sirt, and a cotton tie? It doesn't fall into, "clubwear," nor officewear. Where the hell can you wear that stuff?

A&F stuff are wayy to bland and plain. and hence, its price dosen't justify it. plus I don't like their "wash"/"used" look. same goes with American Eagle.

and to be politically incorrect, A&F and AE are for white guys only.

and oh, I boguht an A&F sweater, the dye/color comes off EASILY. I am serious.

They are all the same quality, if they are made in China, they are all outsourced to the same damn factory that makes POLOs on day shifts and AF on night shifts.

is not what the clothing is, its what it represents. I don't feel there is a lot of difference whether a horse(Polo) or a plaid(Burberry)

what it represents  god you must be 12, clothing doesn't REPRESENT ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you buy and wear any of the 3 brands you listed in your first sentence it means you are a mindless sheep that just follows the stupid masses, no one and i mean NO ONE of any importance give a flying sh!t if you wear clothes from AF or have that damn 250$ UGLY burberry scarf,

grow up and get over yourself

all people care about is if you look nice and presentable for whatever you need to do, and you can do that with clothes from fusking walmart

You know why I don't buy it? Because I don't want to look like I go to an upper middle class high school and think I'm hot sh!t. I know not everyone who wears A&F is like that...but that's the impression the clothes give nevertheless.

Yep. The only time I usually notice what brand my shirts are is when I'm buying them on sale and I want to see how much I'm saving, heh.

I don't think the quality is that horrible (though I've never worn it so I don't know); I just don't like their style. It's too manufactured.

the only clothes i buy are levi's, dickies and shoes(socks boxers and undershits too) also things from salvation army, out of the closet, and 2nd hand clothes shops(mainly vintage)

i print my own t-shirts, or buy certain shirts from companys i want to support. usually its stencils and sweat shop free(google: sweat free t) solid color tshirts, but if i really wanna get something advanced out i would go down to the local CC or a screen print shop.

Nope, A&F stinks in my opinion. My perception is that they market their clothing purposely for caucasians.

I used to like Lacoste when it wasn't so damn expensive!

Anubis, usually I agree with you on many things, but your definitley wrong on this one. Depending on where you live, and what job/client you're trying to get/impress these things def matter. Think about the Japanese-they look for the glasses, belt, and shoes. People look at these things when your at the top. Go buy a fvcking suit at walmart buddy. Then go to someplace nice and compare quality. Check the goods before you post.

Go to Upper West Side and see how many WASPs wear a fvcking $250 scarf. Most people can't understand this on AT. Everyone here wants price/performance(including myself). Its not the fact that I want a $250 scarf, but I can blow $250 on a piece of cloth. And I will say, whoever is head of marketing at AF is one smart bastard.

i put my vote in the overpriced category and here's why: the "style" nowadays seems to be that "worn out" look. i think it is retarded to buy that crap at 60 bucks or whatever it costs for a pair of pants with holes in it. now, as with all brand names, you do pay a premium for the name. However, i think you can get clothes that lok better for cheaper. hence why i think it is overpriced. the clothes suck too. kthx

You can yap yap yap all about how Wall Mart is better than A&F but seriously its our preference.

If I want to spend $40 on a vintage polo shirt that gets me brand name recognition, so be it, it's my money anyway.

Don't see why you guys like yapping so much. You like your wal mart garbage? Be my guest and keep wearing wall mart garbage.

I like my Abercrombie thanks.

Btw I'm Asian.

I think we're exaggerating a bit on the prices here. Even Levi's prices their jeans at $45 at most department stores excluding wally world.

Polos at AF are usually $30, which also is the norm for most "designer" polos (nautica, polo, tommy, Express, etc). Pants/Jeans usually go for $30-40. Sweaters can range from $20-40.
