Scares the piss out of me. Turbulence scares me the most, but the take off scares me almost as much. The landing isn't so bad as long as it isnt into a mountain or plummeting towards the earth.
 
I love flying. Best parts of the flight are takeoff and landing b/c you can actually tell you're moving. Turbulence isn't too bad either...as long as it isn't literally throwing me around the cabin.
 
love is a pretty strong term for it. i don't mind it at all as long as there aren't screaming babies sitting nearby. screaming babies ruin flights. they cut through earplugs like a hot knife through butter and pwn you hard
 
I don't like it, too cramped and stuffy etc, but I have no problem with any aspect of it apart from that.
But there are similar issues on trains sometimes (e.g. peak times), so it's not just a plane thing.
It's a handy way to get around though sometimes.
 
I hate when my flight gets delayed and I'm stuck in a terminal for 3 hours, and all that's within access is overpriced merchandise at stores no one gives a fvck about and, omg, overpriced food. Don't get me started on security checkpoints.

Road trip > fly
 
it doesn't bother me, but i don't "like" to, i do it whenever i need to

i used to travel for business, so i have flown a lot in the past
i can fall asleep before take off if i am tired

i don't like turbulence, especially violent turbulence over the Atlantic ocean, that makes me nervous
 
I guess it's just the feeling of complete and utter lack of control.
I don't think I would mind it so much if I was a pilot.
 
this reminds me, i'm going to google "win a trip to vegas" and select canadian sites only. i'm going to win a frickin' trip
 
I love to fly. I just hate commercial aviation. Damn Greyhound busses in the sky now.

My brother uses a private jet service (NetJets). Flying is so much better when I fly with him.

I actually enjoy the rookie pilots more ... they tend to overdo it on the takeoff and just hammer the throttle. 😀

I hated it the first couple of times, but not it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't go as far as saying that I love it though
 
I also love UA's channel 9. It's their ATC channel. It's fun to hear them banter. Last time we flew to Hawaii, the ATC were bored and started a conversation with the pilots of our plane. They were asking if he wanted to go to a BBQ that night :laugh:
