The general consensus in the UK is that he is a horrible, manipulative, disgusting, dishonest, decietful moron. I was very very surprised that after his last job as editor of the Daily Mirror he was able to go to America and get work.

So what do you think of him?

Tabloids are run by assholes. He ran a tabloid for a while. Now he is a tabloid talk show host.

I know that he hacked into some celebrities' voicemails, so I know that the above generalization holds for him.

He's a TV guy, he was a judge on America's Got Talent, he was the winner of Celebrity Apprentice, and he is the presenter of Piers Morgan Tonight, which took over from Larry King's Tonight Show
 
I know who he is...and he's an asshole. I hope the British investigation into the phone hacking scandals get him and toss him into Old Bailey for life. (or whatever the current worst British prison happens to be)

there is a lot of weird hate in the uk going on
the constant phone hacking coverage is an odd one, endless moral indignation beating that dead horse of a story for months, a perfect example of the tabloid nature of all the media ironically. so they hate piers because he is trash, but they love to hate and thus they are responsible for the trash.

Nobody likes him. He was a great foil to Sharron Osborne on America's Got Talent, but his ratings are tanking on CNN since he took over for Larry King.
 
Was he the guy that was on the apprentice a few years back?

If so, he comes off unnecessarily douchey.
 
Fun fact about Piers Morgan: he is the only man that Jeremy Clarkson has ever punched in the face, I love Clarkson for that.
