right now sure, as long as they aren't slobs. if/when i get a new(er) car, then i may have to change the rules around a little bit :D

Same. My 97 Dakota has seen quite a lot. And I am not going to be a dick about things inside the truck when the outside has paint chipping around the bed and rust on the rear bumper.
The inside of my vehicle has seen quite a bit of misfortune. I'll take it to a full service car wash from time to time, or to one of those "do it yourself" places complete with vacuums. Clean it up a bit and spruce up the inside, quite effectively too.

The moment I get a newer model vehicle, I'll baby it and the rules will change inside.
Until, of course, I screw up, or it's been long enough that I don't care anymore.

I'm ok with road head in the car if she swallows. Don't want to have to wash spunk out of the seats.

Never. I bought that car brand new 4 years ago and no one, not even me, is allowed to eat in my car. I even ask that they take off their coat and put it on the floor. I also never open the windows.

Only water is fine.

I also ban people with herpes. I am dead serious. (long story short, a friend had a girlfriend with an open sore on her mouth, she admitted it was herpes, I told her to take the train.)

Shen! Not that the girl didn't have herpes but, that you have friends.

I don't care. A car to me is a tool, just like a hammer is, and I don't baby it in any way. Scratches, dents, stains... Who cares? The scrap yard isn't particular when the car finally makes it to them ;^)

There's a reason why my car still has that new car leather seat smell. I don't let people eat in my car. It's a sure fire way to make your car stink and to get stains. Water or drinks with lids are ok.

I like old car smell better. Rotten vinyl, gas, and oil... There's nothing better :^)

When I bought my car I spent like 5 days straight getting coffee stains out. Also there are no cupholders so drinks will always go badly. I allow water though.

I'm usually fine with eating as long as it is not breadcrumbs or a sandwich with 5 gallons of mayo.

I have no problem with mud or dirt though.

no. well technically thats not true; ill allow water in my car. everything else is closed up until we get to our destination. my car is 4 years old and still has that new leather smell in it so food/drinks is a big no-no. if they raise a fuss, i tell them tough and if they dont like it next time they can drive. my old car got beat to shit inside because i let up, so i dont plan to let the same thing happen this time around.

I do not like people eating/drinking in my car, but how do you just come out and say it without sounding like a pretentious biotch?
Just frankly tell them up front about it. It's your car, not theirs. If they don't respect you enough to follow that rule, you probably need new friends.

Rarely...but I'm not anal about it. Depends on the food, generally, we do not eat meals in my car but some snacks are okay.

A car is just a tool to get from A to B for me so I don't really care what it looks like inside or out so I don't really care if it gets a little dirty. There actually aren't too many staisn inside right now, but there are quite a few crumbs on the fllor (although I'm sure a vacuum could handle them pretty quick) It is my intention to drive my car until it bites the dust, so resale value isn't really an issue either.

don't mind at all if people eat or drink in the car, but no smoking, and if they spill/make a mess, just clean it up.

I didn't realize there were many people that this would annoy. Of course I wouldn't care. And I probably wouldn't be friends with someone who did care.
