Next time ask her what the derivative of x is and then post another weak rant sir.

Also, this thread is completely worthless without pics.

Not sure where you're from, but the proper word is Restroom. Not Bathroom (a room with a bath) or Lavatory (a room with conveniences for washing and usually with one or more toilets). I hate it when people use all those jargon/nicknames for these places.

do you pull up to limos and say, "pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?"

I do, but usually on foot, so it's less pretentious.

Hmm, was not a rant, but an innocent question good sir.

I think it would have come of extremely creepy if I had asked her where the lavatory was then snapped a picture of her before shuffling off to the loo...

Also called powder room, water closet, commode, urinal, latrine, privy, sandbox, the biffy, the piddle parlor and a million nastier names. Some middle-eastern countries don't even have toilets, just a hole in the ground that you have to squat into.

"Where's the commode in this dungeon, I've gotta take a squirt". :awe: I should use commode, that's a great word.

Should've asked for the WC, or go with the eastern accent and ask for the VC.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the term "lavatory" in public, tbh. :hmm:

When I was in kindergarten I told my teacher I had to use the bathroom. She asked her assistant teacher to walk me to the "Restroom". I began to cry because i did not want to take a nap. Very traumatic.

Yesterday I paid for something at a store using a gold dollar coin. The middle-aged woman had to ask someone if it was legit.
