nope, this is entertainment to me. even the worst argument ive gotten into was over something i was playing devils advocate to. a lot of times ill play DA just to see if i can. i may even make up details to make the arguments seem more valid. i have no conscience, and i rarely feel remorse over anything. ive been called a sociopath on more than a few occasions. all or parts of this may be lies.

If 90% of what they post is about other peoples mothers/sisters/female relatives then I just assume they are acting out a fantasy where they don't have small genetalia and live a sad lonely existence. Then I treat them with equal measures of pity and disdain.

Same here. I have a hard time remembering real people and their names. A forum handle is just too abstract for me to remember at all. I might have an occasional argument with someone, but I could be agreeing with the same person in another thread 2 hours later without realizing they're the same person.
 
I don't care, except if the user perseverates in posting the same thing over and over. In which case, I kinda stop considering their expositions seriously because it's clear it's an obsession of theirs that they're trying to project on everything.
 
I'd have to write down who pissed me off or embarrassed me because I forget like almost instantly. I hate getting surprise infractions though. That makes me feel like a piece of shit forum criminal of lesser value than other members. But hey, mods are people too and if you offend them, they can infract your ass! SO ACTUALLY YES I HOLD GRUDGES DAMN IT.

Not sure I'd call it grudges. Many times I don't read any replies to my posts whether I start a thread or respond once or twice to other OPs. That's to avoid responsibility for some of the things I say. Is that so bad? I mean it seems like to some people avoiding responsibility for making an idiotic post (if it's non criminal) is worse than committing a capital offense. Still doesn't necessarily mean it's a grudge against anyone.
 
My emotional karma does not allow petty grudges, forum or otherwise. Yes, there are some people I favor over others. Yes, people do stuff to me personally I may not like at times. However, people who chose to steal, commit violence and murder are in a whole different category. Why should I forgive someone just so they can continue on their paths of destruction as if nothing happened?

And I do not ignore forum posters. If anyone is obnoxious enough to get under my skin, they are likely pissing off others, too. So they probably won't be around too long. And I want to watch them hoisted on their own petards.

However, I've only ever heard it said as "hoist on their own petard".
