If somebody writes a post that is not of your liking, does it affect latter replies to said member?

Me, not really

if someone has a history of replying to things in a manner which i personally dont like, i put them on ignore so then i dont have to worry about responding to them.

the occasional person being a jackass, meh, don't care so much about that. we all do it.

Yes, but not sure I would call it a grudge.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, but not 3rd.When someone crosses a certain line with me, there is no return.

:colbert:

Do I let it bother me? Not at all, over the years (15 + years of forums) I've learned to not take idiots seriously, so I'm not exactly sure I would call it a grudge.

No, I usually forget whom I argued with a day after the argument is over. I always figured they do the same.

It's the internet, a place for many things (including venting in ways you're unable to in real life). Do people really hold long-term net-based grudges?

Not really a grudge, but I've come to learn who the repeat idiots/troll are.

Trying to make a name for yourself are you?

nope, I just follow them in other subforums and nicely disagree with anything they post

I can tell when people are doing it to me they come out of left field with some grudge from another thread and just start randomly disagreeing with shit.

if it's just someone being a jackass once in awhile I don't really care, but a consistent jackass gets treated like a jackass... quacks like a duck and all that.

This...

There are probably only a handful of users that have made a strong enough impression on me to even remember them more than a day or so after duking it out in a thread, and I mean epic ones like Dave, Dennil, GA, etc.

Might as well be anonymous. When I see people say stuff like "oh great another [username] rant thread" or "posting in a [username] cop hating thread", I'm like, "how da fuq you even make that connection?"

lol no. Not at all. But there are certain people on this forum that hold grudges and will bring up old shit in new topics. They think they're "pwning" you. But really, they look dumb. So, just keep trolling them until they explode into a million tiny, angry pieces.

Macklemore is the only solid rapper left in the game.

I got better things to do than hold grudges against people I will never meet or find.

But certain posters do stick out by repeatedly posting the same type of crap. For example, this is a brainhulk thread.

I'm just good with names and patterns.

I have a fairly terrible memory and don't remember most of you thread to thread. It takes a lot of terrible posts in a row to get put on ignore, but I think I still have one on there.

Just one or two. Has to do with their overall demeanor. One of them is blocked, the other I don't see anymore, so effectively, I guess not.

There are a few on this forum that seem to hold grudges against me... which is completely crazy... I mean, I'm a lawyer - what could I have possibly done to piss them off?
