Do you have personal photos at your work desk?

I dont have any pictures and plants either, it got me thinking what that tells about me, I am sure the judgmental American must have done some research so I goggled "what your workspace tells about you" and viola! there are lot of good reads. I guess I should fall in line, have everything but just in the right amount... 🙄

Here's an example -

........ I'd maybe put plants and kids if I had em.

I have a picture of my wife on my desk and that's about it. Around here there seems to be either people that have nothing on their desks, or seem to have tons of crap on their desks.

Last job yes, current job no. Depends on where you work & who you work with.

Quite a few years ago we had a considerable layoff. The layoffs were unannounced so we had a bunch of desks sitting around with people's personal effects on them. Most of the stuff was boxed up and sent to people, but other's said they didn't want anything sent to them. So, I took a bunch of pictures of other people's families and put them on my desk. It was good fun for awhile until HR made me toss them. I always liked when a vendor would come in and comment on my "family". He must have thought I was Amish because there were about 10 different kids worth of pictures on my desk.
Lol. That's awesome

Yep

My last job no personal items were allowed. None.

My current job they are expected. We are a small, family friendly company and your office or cube is your domain. If you don't fix it up, someone will probably do it for you.

I have what I call a "walk out desk"

learned that after having 3 companies go tits up on me during the Dot com bust. Never have to clean out a desk again.

And your bank hates you.

Never underestimate the power of being an asshole.

Try going toe to toe with the compliance department of a very large national bank. The kind of people who do not care even a tiny bit if you have millions of dollars in accounts with them.

It's because they don't have a clue, they have "the manual. You aren't in compliance."

That'll teach you for voting for the dems.😀 Too bad all of America can't get the same feeling you and I have had.

Its because the rest of us are fine upstanding Americans not involved in taking advantage of other Americans

Ex, you know I'm old. You should consider that my Grands are dead....long dead.

WTH are you into and does your better half know?....yet...🙂

I see you aren't yet ready for the truth - and of course she knows

Voting is pointless.
Unless you have $$$$$
