Yes or no.

Specifically, any about not loading images SOMETIMES? :p

I don't know why it doesn't load images. I thought I lacked some kind of plug in or codex or something. Some images won' desplay.

Good observation. What a pisoff. I wonder what the deal is. I don't want to use XP, my system doesn't really like it and quite frankly neither do I. :p

Nope. It seems that on Win2K/IE6 boxes, it has this demented prob. Dunno bout Win9x/IE6 but WinXP/IE6 seems to be OK. Hmmmm....

Someone please help us! :D Or let us know if something is ever released to fix it.

My biggest gripe with IE 6 is that when you click on a link that launches a new window, that new window will never be maximized. Such a glaring mistake for so long (SP1 doesn't fix it).

I use Opera more and more. IE for the forums, though, because for some screwy reason Opera can't render reply boxes large enough...and for online banking and the like.

Hopefully, Opera 7 will own all of us. :)

only complaint i have deals with the scrolling... mozilla and netscape have a faster more accurate scroll, for instance if you spun the wheel cause you wanted to go way down the page, it would go slow and end up somewhere else probably... in netscape it goes alot quicker and is alot more accurate.. after scrolling all day long in web browsers, stupid things like this tend to annoy me.. i've no idea if that can be "fixed" but it's one of the only gripes i have.. IE is compatible with everything!!!

Several people, including some other AT members and myself have had trouble with IE6 loading GIFs after installing Windows XP Service Pack 1. The images will appear if you manually right-click and choose "Show Picture".

After doing some research it seems that it's actually IE6 SP1 that has the problem, when you install XP SP1 it automatically updates IE6 to SP1.

There's no known cause for it that I can find and it only affects a few people, the only fix seems to be using plain IE6 without SP1, assuming of course you are having the same problem.

When it crashes and it keeps asks if I want to send an error report!!!

I don't care about the crashes so much.. but that damn message that keeps coming up after. It's annoying.

If you are using XP:

Open Control Panel and go to "System"
Then click on the Advanced tab
Click on the error reporting button on the bottom of the windows.
Select Disable error reporting.

No problems with it here, although I use 5.5 on my main system. I actually wish more people would use IE 6 instead of 5, cause it gets the css box model correct and has very little quirks with css that I've found, unlike IE 5/5.5. :disgust:
