Scotland/Ireland calls them "neds".

Took me a damn week to figure out what one of my friends was talking about when he said "a pack of neds like to hang around outside and attack people who threaten them"... the first thought I got was that a damn bunch of raccoons hung around or something.

I knew of Scotland using it from when I lived there, in particular Glaswegian 'neds'. Didn't think Ireland did as well, hmmmm

See that's what I think the worst part is. They breed and breed and breed. they start at 14/15 and go all the way till they're 40+. Then the government has to pay for housing/schooling/police/hospitals for when their 40-a-day habit catches up on them and they give nothing *NOTHING* back. The only revenue the government gets is the tax on faags and special brew.

It pisses me off that I work pretty hard and have to fork out a significant sum of cash for taxes, but most of this goes on things like benefit for those who are 'looking' for work ie turn up to one interview a month, and get paid and housed for free. If we didn't have to pay for these scabby little turds England could have much better public transport/healthcare/education etc etc etc. These people bring the entire country down and there seems to be very little that can be done about it.

Also, when these nasty people go to prison, they get a top notch lifestyle there. I remember watching this documentary following this crook who ripped people off with sh!te kitchens. He called jail "the best health club in the world". He was sent there for a few months, when he came out he had had a great time catching up with old friends and was really well built and looking/feeling great. Did it stop him being a criminal? Did it fvck. he was just more careful not to be caught.

We need prison to be a truly unpleasant place. The whole idea at present seems dumb "This guy's committed a crime so lets group him with loads of other criminals who he can interact with 24/7. That way when he comes out he'll be a reformed man and will be a model citizen". Bullsh!t. A first short-term prison sentence is when a 'young and budding' crim meets his contacts and learns his skills. It's a school/meeting place for criminals.

If it were to me I would have much more solitary confinement. Have inmates eat/sleep/exercise alone or in very small groups. Granted the logistics of it would be very difficult since our prisons are crammed already, but if they were forced into education and kept away from bad influences such as say... other criminals, I think they would have a much more beneficial time. Also, they should pay back their debt to the community. The old chain gangs there like in the US were at least doing something instead of sitting around watching TV and working out as they please. 6 months hard labour would be much more effective than a year of dossing.

Lots of run down estates need clearing, railways need relaying, streets need clearing. There's LOADS of stuff that they could be given.

I'd say the "gangster rap" clowns with the big chains, brand name sports wear, etc. are maybe the US equivalent of chavs. They also have that the inane notion that brand names = fashion. Brands logoes always on display, zero sense of irony. It's about wearing symbols of affluence as 'fashion'. But these people have no taste, so the result is something very garish and embarrassing.

Yes, but the chav is extremely brand conscious. The tracksuit pants and argyle knit v-neck sweater will be made by certain 'status' brands, like Pringle, Burberry, etc. Brand consciousness = status consciousness, I guess. They are wearing 'luxury sportswear', & they have this bizarre idea that 'status brands' = fashion. In reality, they have no jobs and no money. So how do they pay for their clothes?

 
I guess you can spot a Chav in the US- I think somebody who has dressed like Justin Timberlake with all the Von Dutch crap and such. Curious, how much is Burberry in UK then? Pretty decent stuff here, so they can't be that bad😉

I'm not xenophobic towards the British, infact you will see that I said I am part British myself, so I feel I can make fun of you all I want. Also, I'm not American, so I'm not too worried about your comment.

Maybe I wasn't clear in what I just posted. I have no hatred or fear of the British. I am part British. And yes I think it's acceptable to apply a blanket statement like "all british guys are ugly" because in this case it's done with humour and is not intended to cause any hurt.

You need to lighten up, go drink some tea and chill out.
 
This is more white trash than it is wigger. This is what I'd expect to see in a trailer park, not necessarily a white wanna-be thug. Not that they are mutually exclusive, but this is far less wigger and much more trash.
