Both. I loathe the voice quality over a cell phone and use it only when I am not in reach of a land line.

Hubby and I have trouble remembering the number sometimes. It's nice to have when we work from home and one of us needs to call in to conference with work.

I have a landline that has very limited everything for my DSL connection.

I use my cell phone still for local calls, baring that - skype.

Unfortunately I have both. If my wife could keep her cell charged we would drop the landline.
