Do you hate rich people?

First of all let me say that if you earned what you have more power to you. But there is a certain class of people that feel the need to flaunt everything amongst the peons out there, hoping to impress everyone with their tacky sense of self worth and otherwise faux character in these troubled times. I find those types of people to be extremely annoying and quite worthy of scorn....scorn I say!

Just the other day I was thinking that I could have more wealth if I just quit spending all my free time posting here. I quickly dismissed that thought.

I'm counting on the government to provide for all of my needs. I have expensive tastes so I'm thinking there must be some agency I need to inform. I deserve more than just the "regular" dole.

No. I couldn't care less about rich people flaunting what they own. The only thing that many rich people, and sheltered city folk of all sorts, do that pisses me off is to presume to have strong negative opinions on things other people do for a living. For instance, they may hold the opinion that only folk of a "lesser caliber" would be farmers or construction workers or the like.

I hate show off rich people, but there are still lot of good rich people who donate to charity or help others either financially or with their time and overall still show compassion. It's the ones that are nose in the air that I hate.

People often hate on Bill Gates, but he actually does give a lot to charity and spends lot of time to help out.

Bill "Blue Screen" Gates is a worthy example of charitable wealth and tasteful spending.

You might be misreading me a bit. I don't mind people having big frivolous possessions. I think some of them may be stupid(that diamond encrusted mouse is a good example), but I don't hate them for it. I may lose some respect... A diamond mouse screams trailer trash; it's just gaudy and cheesy, but like tact, good taste transcends economics.
