Proper mastication should be taught at the earliest age. Even before a child reaches Kindergarden they should masticate properly and frequently.

Geeeeeez......my roommate was eating in the livingroom, and I could hear him chewing from in the bedroom! I don't know how you can chew like that without spewing food all over the place. I don't know how you can do that without being bothered by the sound of it yourself. I hate listening to myself eating, like if I'm somewhere really quiet, and the chewing is about all I'm able to hear. Disgusting sound.
