My Fossil has survived hell nad back...twice.
It's analog, but I have no problem with it...
I have to admit... I had a Fossil. Analog. LOVED it and it lasted forever. When I lost it, I replaced it with a Victorinox (died), Wegner (died), Timex (died) and Casio (died.) I'm thinking about getting another Fossil.
For the record: I work as an installer/cable runner, etc. I bang around A LOT of shit, watches included. I also like to work on cars on the weekend. I tear sht up, I tell you what.

Accept no substitute.
I had one of these, sold it after awhile because I wanted to buy something else I didn't need.
It was a little big, but hey, WTF, right?

They sure can, if you get liquid on them.
