That's the model that I have.

The mechanism is absolutely perfect. I've set the time once when I got it, and it's still keeping the same time plus/minus a second with time.windows.com. The only time I unscrew the crown is when the month is short and I advance the date.

Beware: The stock bracelet is HORRIBLE!!! It rips hair like none other (stamped steel, not solid links), and feels cheap. I got a replacement solid linked bracelet for $20, and now I'm proud to show it off.

I've been wearing a Luminox for a few years. I even wear it to work, so it can definitely withstand a beating.

I have a Swiss Army very close to this one I have had it for 7 years, and only recently had to replce the battery (actually earlier this week :p) I ran it over with a forklift once because I was a dumbass and had to replace the band, but the watch is still perfect. Best watch I ever had, and I have had a bunch.

if you're looking luminox, they do have some stainless steel:

steel/carbon fiber dive

luminox also has titanium dive watches, which will be lighter.

luminox is extremely durable.

any dive watch might fit your bill - if you want one that's sturdy yet light, look at a citizen, seiko or even a tissot. titanium does raise the price, so you may want to go and try on some of the stainless steel ones to see if they're too heavy.

seiko SNK033k
citizen titanium dive watch (plus it's eco drive)

tissot dive watches are sturdy and a good deal for swiss movements. but the dive watch has a magnifier on the face that bothered me. but sturdy! and not that heavy.

Freestyle Regulator

Now that's sleek-looking...what's the deal with the bottom dial though? The description makes me think it is for month but why does it go up to 24?

Military time.

Cool I guess...if not a tad useless...Also, it appears to be off :)

I thought you wanted something manly?

What the hell's more manly than a watch with MILITARY TIME, THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK RIGHT PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WAS USED IN A WAR?!?!?!

God... some people are fdddrucking IMPOSSIBLE.

How about a watch that already has blood on it? ... and a kidney stone perhaps?

I have had my Fossil for ~6 years. It still works great. The silver veneer is wearing off the top, so if I can't get it replaced, I will try to get a Seiko diver.
