Do you guys cleanse and moisturize your face?

Do you guys cleanse and moisturize your face when you get up in the morning?

If not, whats your morning routine when you wake up? Do you just splash your face and then go to school, job or work etc?

Just curious, I splash my face with water, patt dry and then moisturize (e45 cream) my face.

Moisturizers and other creams make me cringe. I can't stand the feeling of that shit on my skin. Then again, I can't even stand the feeling of sun block. Nasty.

Nothing. Just water in the shower and that's it. Or maybe a small cleansing from the shampoo that comes off my hair. My skin doesn't get as oily later on in the day as it used to (when I used cleansers). Coming from someone who used to suffer acne, facial skin cleansers really are not necessary.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

now that this obligatory quote is out of the way, I can tell you my routine: apply water, rubbing a bit with the hands, cleaning out the eyes then dry with towel.

wash my face everyday, but moisturize if I know I've been out all day long and fear sunburn/dry skin. I typically do it after each ski day simply because my skin WILL be pretty dry by night time.

Nope. Barely wash it unless you concider shampoo run off washing. My skin is nice. Sometimes lotion when i get a dry spot from my stubble. By mostly no lotion either. I do lotion my hands every morning and lots throught the day.

In the shower, I wash my face with Clearasil soap, I shave with a special shaving gel called Bump Patrol (kick ass!), then moisturize with Olay Age Defying Cream. I've probably done this daily for the last 6-7 years. However, I'm also 42 and have no wrinkles around my eyes, so it does work. I look like I'm in my early 30's, while my buddy at work that just uses soap and nothing else looks like he's around 50...and he's a year younger than me.

If I look good, I have more confidence, so what the hell. Give it a try.

I don't have a "routine" when it comes to washing my face, except when I'm in the shower I let the water run on it. Sometimes I'll wash it with a cleanser.
