as has been mentioned english does not require the use masculine and feminine conjugation. This makes it relatively easy to learn.

I actually prefer conversational Cantonese. It sounds nice, tenses are easy to ad, no conjugations I know of, and the flow is very good.

...It can go eff itself when it comes to writing and formal speaking though. What a fuked up language. It's essentially two languages in one -- conversational /= formal or business. Plus, it has an insanely hard, tough love written language that is, apparently, just Mandarin pronounced differently. They tried to simplify the writing slightly with Mandarin in China, but Cantonese uses the traditional, harder system with more strokes -- to give the finger at the mainland?
