I own the company, so I never get a day off.

However, since it's a great day outside, I'm sitting on the deck in my robe with my laptop, just got done checking out all the client sites, and now I'm gonna snooze a bit before tackling a mound of paperwork.

<--- Working in a bank right now. Not all banks close for "bank holidays." In this area almost all banks are open.

A day off, HA! There are few days off here. Medical field sucks, at least I don't work on Christmas.

I need a new job. Blech.

I get today and tomorrow off from school, but I decided to go into work both days. Can never have enough money 😉

I honestly do not know if I am off....:Q

Edit: Wait a minute...if today is Columbus Day...and I am at work...that means I don't get the day off. 🙁

We get off school for it, but here in South Dakota it's called "Native American Day."

Not in NJ. However we get time off during a Jewish holiday while other states go to school as a trade off.
