I try not to use a public restroom since they are so dirty.

If I have to go then I usually will flush with my shoe and after washing my hands I will push open the door with my foot.

Also how many of you have went poo poo in a restroom where the lights were on a timer. I went to a staples back in march and the damn lights went off on me while wiping. Boy was that difficult.

After having given this more thought, I decided that using your hand is even less desirable. So many people use their foot, the very same foot mind you that is standing on the piss soaked floor. :Q

Nothing is more of a pain in the rear than a toilet with a broken seat, the most common are the ones with one mounting point broken so if you shift your weight the seat picks up from underneath you and slides over into the most annoying position possible.

The worst is when you go into the shady places where the seat has just been ripped off altogether, now that sucks.

I wonder how many of you that hate public bathrooms have lived in a dorm before?? or if you work in an office building?...also what your feelings on public laundry facilities are?

personally while it is kinda gross, I try not to think about it too much, life is too short and heck it could be worse.

I used to know a kid in college that would bring a bottle of spray disinfectant into the bathroom with him, spray off the whole toilet and then wipe it down before he used it...needless to say he didn't have many friends, not because of that alone but more you know what type of a person that is if he is that anal in the bathroom.

me too...if I really cannot hold it, then I find a compusa...they have the best bathrooms in my area....and yes, I have gone into compusa just to use the bathroom

For all those that don't use your hands to flush the toilet, how do you get out of the bathroom.
You use a towel to open the door. What about coming in the restaurant. You bring a towel there.
For touching anything. Cause I got news for you. People don't wash their hands. So they are touching
everything on the way out and in. Unless the handle is covered it doesn't hurt to use your hands then
wash them.

I am willing to bet there is more germs on a door knob or phone then on a toilet handle.

I haven't touched my hand on my dorm toilet handle since I've been here. Feet, always. At a urinal, I use my elbow.
